RENT THE PRINCE
The Prince resides in the historic Midtown Theater at 1412 Chestnut Street, on the Avenue of the Arts. In 1999 the facility was completely renovated creating one of the best theater spaces in Philadelphia with enviable acoustics and full wheelchair accessibility in all the public areas.
There are three separate spaces available in the Prince Music Theater as well as the large, party-friendly lobby with its original Al Hirschfeld mural entitled “American Musical Theater.”

The Gisela & Dennis Alter Mainstage
A proscenium-style auditorium with an orchestra pit and full fly system. Seating is in two sections, front orchestra with a gentle slope and rear orchestra with “stadium” seating. The back row is no more than 90 feet from the stage. Total capacity of 446.
For film events, the Mainstage offers 35mm open reel capability. If you choose to rent a video projector we have playback decks for DVD, mini-DV and VHS. The Mainstage screen has a maximum image size of 17′-06″h x 32′-06″w.

Located on the second floor, this is a multi-purpose venue for live theater, music or other performance art as well as film. It can show a variety of formats: DVD, mini-DV and VHS on a 9′ x 12′ screen. There is a small stage, a good sound system and more than ample house and theatrical lighting. Auditorium style seating will allow up to 150. Lounge seating in a mix of seated rows and small cocktail tables around the perimeter will accommodate approximately 125. Cabaret seating with all cocktail tables and chairs will accommodate between 80 and 100 people very comfortably.
The Arcadia SkyBox
A large, multi-purpose room with sprung floor and one wall of mirrors. It is ideal for rehearsals as well as meetings and other functions.

Please do not send this form to us as an attachment; once you have completed it, the form cannot be saved, it can only be printed or emailed. Instructions: Download the blank form and save it to your computer. Open the form using Acrobat Reader, fill in your answers, and then click the button that says submit by email (top right corner of first page). Follow the instructions to save your answers as an .xml file. That is the attachment that you should send to us so that we can actually see what you wrote.
